19th century important Russian enameled tea set, gilded .88 silver with enamel, made by Nikolai Vasilevich Alexeev, circa 1908, having intricate cloisonne work throughout in exotic forms and bright colors, each with upturned finials suggesting pagoda roofs, each piece having hallmarks for silver purity, Moscow, and the maker, coffee measures 8" high, case measures 8" high x 24 3/4" wide x 13" deep, approximately 68.2 troy oz TW, To include lined wooden travel case. Provenance: From a Cambridge, Massachusetts estate.
